Blue Arrow provides emergency mitigation, restoration, remediation and related repair services as described in a written scope or work authorization. Work requiring a licensed trade or a permit under local law is performed by appropriately licensed professionals, and permit requirements are identified before that work begins.
2. Assessments and estimates
Assessments and estimates are based on conditions visible and measurable at the time of inspection. Water, mold and fire damage often extend into concealed areas; if additional damage is discovered once work begins, we will document it and discuss any change in scope or cost with you before proceeding, except where immediate action is needed to prevent further damage.
3. Insurance and direct billing
With your written authorization, we may bill your insurance carrier directly and communicate with your adjuster. You remain responsible for your deductible, for any work not covered by your policy and for any balance the carrier does not pay, as described in the work authorization. We do not make coverage decisions and cannot guarantee that a claim will be approved or the amount paid.
4. Customer responsibilities
- Provide safe access to the property and utilities needed for equipment
- Leave drying equipment running and in place unless we advise otherwise
- Inform us of known hazards, prior damage or previous repairs
- Remove or secure valuables, medications and firearms
5. Equipment
Drying and air-quality equipment remains our property. Please do not move, unplug or turn off equipment without contacting us, as this can extend drying time and affect the results.
6. Hidden and pre-existing conditions
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, deterioration, code deficiencies or hidden conditions that were not caused by our work, though we will report any we observe.
