Commercial job sites
What makes commercial restoration different
- Scheduling around operations: evening, overnight and weekend shifts; phased drying so part of the space stays open
- Protection of equipment and records: sensitive equipment, servers, inventory and files are wrapped, moved or isolated
- Containment: dust and moisture control that keeps occupied areas working (see containment below)
- Single point of contact: one project manager for owners, tenants, property managers and adjusters
- Documentation: daily drying logs, photo reports and scope summaries that satisfy commercial carriers and landlords
- Building rules: certificates of insurance, freight elevator bookings and work-hour restrictions handled in advance
Commercial insurance and business interruption
Many commercial property policies include business income (business interruption) and extra expense coverage, which can pay for lost income and the cost of staying open during restoration. Those coverages depend on documentation: when the loss happened, what was damaged, how long operations were affected and what was done to minimize the downtime. Our records support that file. See insurance claim help.
Commercial restoration FAQ
Can you work while we stay open?
Often, yes. We set up containment and schedule noisy work outside business hours so part or all of your space can keep operating.
Do you provide certificates of insurance for building management?
Yes. Send us the building’s requirements and we’ll provide the certificate before work begins.
Can you set up a priority response plan before a loss happens?
Yes. We can walk the property, note shut-off locations, contacts and access procedures, and keep them on file so our crew arrives prepared.
